Issue 12 ● November, 2011

Hey Folks,

It's time for another issue of Where & When where you can find out all The Kris & Marlon Show fun facts.  Fact One:  The Holiday Season is upon us and, although you folks are probably as busy as a cat covering up after itself, we want you to have the opportunity to pay us a visit, sit on our knee, and whisper to us your Christmas wishes.  We'll be sure to pass the word along to Santa next time we see him.  And now for our upcoming appearances...

Grandpa'sSAT. DECEMBER. 10TH, 9:00PM—GRANDPA'S PLACE

1868 Prairie St., Glenview, IL 60026

This is one of our favorite places in all the land.  Located right by the train stop in downtown Glenview, Grandpa's is a great place to bring the family for dinner, and a great place for live music.  It's a gig we always look forward to playing.  Feel free to bring along Grandpa (and Grandma too if she's handy).

Holiday PicSAT. DECEMBER. 17TH, 8:00PM—LOVELL'S OF LAKE FOREST

915 S. Waukegan Rd., Lake Forest, IL 60045

It's time for our Holiday Spectacular! There'll be lords-a-leaping, ladies dancing, maids milking—in other words, a typical evening in The Captain's Quarters.  Wear your Santa hat.

Bridie McKenna Pic

SAT. JANUARY 14TH, 9:00PM—BRIDIE McKENNA'S

254 Green Bay Road, Highwood, IL 60040

The ancient Mayans prophesied that in 2012 Kris and I would return to Bridie McKenna's. Those Mayan's could be quite uncanny, but it's really not that unusual given that the Mayans were known to have an affinity for great Irish pubs, and they knew that we couldn't possibly stay away from a place like this. They also prophesied I would break a string at some point.

The unstoppable and indefatigable Show rolls on in 2012 with stops at Uncommon Ground, Moher Public House, and much more.  Keep the rabbit ears on top of your wi-fi device tuned into Where & When for all the fancy details.

With warmest regards,

Marlon St. John

Q:  Do you know how you can tell if the person on your porch is a lead singer?
A:  If they can't find the right key and they don't know when to come in.
