Issue 35 - February, 2016
Hey Folks,
We are just a few short weeks away from another visit by Mark
Zeus, a mysterious man who has never once been called a
stranger, a man the Mexican Army once called formidable but
fair, a man who can call small dogs to him using feedback only
they can hear, large ones too. Mark Zeus will be On The March
in a neighborhood joint near you. Friends, Murray, our trusty
robotic and erstwhile office appliance has been very busy
making sure you are provided with the finest in entertainment
options, and it doesn't get much finer than this. So grab
your partner, pat her on the head and jot this down. You may
want to remember it.
Friday,
March 3rd 8:30 PM
Mark Zeus & Marlon St. John
Gambler's
4908 N. Pulaski Rd.
Chicago IL 60630-2813
In a move seen by sources close to the
emerging story as a clear attempt to silence opposition and put
his supporters on notice, Mark Zeus has boldly vowed to play a new
room in Chicago and has carefully selected Gambler's to be that
room. "We've never played Gambler's before," said sideman and
senior aide Marlon St. John. "I hope they have a plug-in our
extension can reach." He went on to say that there would be a tip
jar deployed at some point, and that he may look into changing
strings prior to the gig if he has any time. Wagering on if this
gig will start on time is hereby permitted. Playthrough
requirements will be the minimum amount (a multiple of bonus +
deposit terms and conditions may apply) you have to play before
you can cash out any bonus.
Saturday,
March 4th 4:00PM - 7:00PM

Grandpa's
Place
1968 Prairie St.
Glenview, IL 60025
The last time we played Grandpa's Place was for
the Go! Cubs! Go! Tour when the Cubs lost to the Cleveland Indians
7-2 giving them a 3-1 lead in the Series. We vowed that if the
Cubs had a winning season, we would return once to slake our
thirst at Grandpa's bar and this we shall do at the appointed hour
and date. This is a show you won't want to miss, and you can't
miss it because it is right by the railroad tracks smack in
downtown Glenview with plenty of free parking, good food, a
waitstaff that is highly dedicated to making sure you have fun,
food, and drink in good measure, and us, your hosts for a three
hour tour of musical favorites. Our number one goal is to show
you such a good time on our early show that you can't help but
follow us out to our late show happening later the same night.
Saturday,
March 4th 10:00PM

Cigar &
Stripes
6715 Ogden Ave.
Berwn, IL 60402
This place is guaranteed to be almost a 20-minute ride from where
you are now if you drive like you mean it. That means no stopping
at four ways and giving a friendly wave to the putz who won't come
to a complete stop. That means no letting anybody in, unless it
looks like they are having a bad day. That means not getting
stuck behind any buses or cement mixers. You got to drive like
you want to get there. And you DO want to get there,
because this place has real beer, not that stuff that was dreamed
up by a marketing majors fresh out of school. It has good BBQ,
and we are doing a late night show, which means we may play "Big
Hair!". Just sayin'
Sunday,
March 5th 6:00PM
Mark Zeus & Friends
Paddy Macs
4157 N Pulaski Rd.
Chicago, IL 60641
Paddy Mac's has become a the comfy rec room we wish we had at
our house if our wife would let us have a stage, a tremendous
cook, lovely waitresses, and a bartender with a heart of gold
under the roof. Since many wives may not allow this unless
stringent requirements are enforced, Paddy Mac's exists to make
you feel like you are right at home and it is conveniently
located to be practically at your home, especially if you happen
to live around Pulaski and Berteau. Once you are there you will
be treated like a first child of a second cousin and you will
have more fun than a Labrador at a stick fetching contest.
And there you have it
folks, this is real entertainment. You can't
get premium quality entertainment like this anywhere in the world
unless you are connected and plugged in to the source, and you
must be because you are on this extremely exclusive list. So feel
free to share this with people as cool as yourself, and we hope to
see you out Where
and When we can.
Rest assured that we dislike junk
mail as much as you do. As such, we will NEVER
sell, rent, barter, or exchange any of your personal
information with anyone, and I will only collect
personal information with the intent of providing you a
useful musical experience. You can instantly Unsubscribe from this
newsletter. Then, perhaps, you can subscribe all over
again at some point.
