The legend has been told of a mysterious man of song who appears out of the night with a small bag containing a guitar, some various cords, a mic, and a raft of songs. The Whistleblower protects his identity. He gives directions to places that don't exist yet. His business card simply says, "I'll call you." He can do both call and response €” silently. Sherpa's carry his songs in their heads. He gives earthquake forecasts to dogs and birds. When you go down to the crossroads and try to flag a ride, often he'll be the one that gives it to you. This will be a return trip for us to Borelli's Pizza which, since our last time there, apparently took us up on our suggestion and installed a full bar. Now we won't have to bring our own which, as I recall, was hard to fit through the door. This place has a nice stage and even nicer waitstaff. They will bring you piping hot pizzas with a crisp, thin crust that is their specialty. If our music cannot manage to hold your attention, try their game room. It's got a bit of everything. This place is as comfy as your cousin's rec room and we'll be playing your favorites which, uncannily, are our favorites as well.

Our good buddy Curtis Bachman turned us on to this place. We played there last fall and realized it was our kind of nightspot. The kitchen turns out a tasty menu. Jen at the bar acts like she knows what she's doing because she does. Dosha and Natalie provide outstanding service and the room has a swell dance floor. Come be a part of our return engagement.

Our good buddy Marty O'Donnell turned us on to this place. This will be our 4th trip out to Gages Lake to play the Cottage Tap. As the name suggests it was a rather cozy cottage turned bar with a lively group of regulars who liked music so much that they have just recently renovated their music room to book more of it. We can't argue with their logic. If there is a theme developing here it is that is good to have good buddies to turn you on to cool music joints.

 It's the Postgame Show with Mark and Marlon. We will be inside the huddle calling audibles at Grandpa's Place shortly after the last down of the Bears/Saint's game. Join us for the game and the post game where the beer is cold, the game is on, and the tunes are there to help extend the Bear's winning streak. Grandpa's Place has been a favorite of ours for a while now, and if you've been their then you know why. It's Grandpa approved. Come watch the Bear's defense dominate the Saints with or without Drew Brees.
