Hey Folks,
From out of
the misty morning fog, arrives a stranger. He carries with him
a small knapsack and a guitar. From out of the knapsack he
pulls a microphone and a cable and he plugs it into a PA and
begins to adjust it just so. His guitar speaks several
languages. Presidents take his day off. He can break a
fifty and make change. House Speaker Mike Johnson calls him
"formidable but fair." He put the bomp in the bomp bah bomp bah
bomp. He is Mark Zeus and he is coming to a joint near you.

We are billed as
Marlon St. John and Friends, and those friends would be Mark Zeus, Bob Apollo, and Mike Carney. We'll be appearing with The Chicago
Sound Collective, Sonny Veneer, and Deived, so it is a night of
music not to be missed. If you have yet to make it out to this
happening night spot, imagine that your favorite local musicians
decided to drop into your favorite corner dive bar to jam just
about the time the bartender slid your favorite cold and sweaty
local brew across the bar to your waiting hand. That is kinda
what it's like. There's more to it, and to find out you will have
to stop by so we can explain it in greater detail.

If
you get your motor running and head out on the highway to Rt. 83
and Gilmer in Long Grove, you'll run into a swingin' joint with
smokin' hot BBQ, a full bar, and live music ― and on this
particular night that live music is us. This is our second time
back at this establishment, which can only mean one thing: we
must be doing something right. Either that or we left a capo or
an unpaid tab behind the last time. Either way, tunes will get
picked, rock will be rolled, and fun will be had. So, take the
world in a love embrace, explode into space, and we'll see you
out on Rt. 83.

Out on Highway 30 right across from
the Speedway in Dyer, Indiana is a honky tonk with a kind
hearted bartender, a rockin' jukebox and a nice stage. On
that stage on this particular night will be Mark Zeus and
your's truly. These are known knowns and facts in evidence.
It is immutable as the arctic icecaps and the forests of the
Amazon, maybe even moreso. Now, this may be so far out of the
city that the sun rises between us and it, but don't let that
stop you. After all, that's why you are known as unstoppable
in the first place, right?

The girls and I are currently
putting the finishing touches on another album, Come On In,
over at Gravity Studios. We are looking forward to sharing it
with you over at our Bandcamp site very soon, so stay tuned to
A440 for that.
Well, that about puts a cork in it. As always, all of us here
